Amy and Jared’s big day was our ideal wedding! In fact, it was nothing short of musical 🙂
Amy is an award-winning jazz vocalist and accomplished songwriter, whose credits extend from opening for The Zac Brown Band to appearances on Glee and song placements in TV shows. Jared, whose musical resume is equally as impressive, is a drummer, composer, and bandleader whose recorded and toured internationally with countless artists and even held the drum chair for the Tony, Grammy, and Emmy award-winning Broadway revival of The Color Purple.
Their mutual love for music and incredible talent drew them to New York City where they continue to pursue their dreams, and it’s obvious that this same love brought them together. Their romance paired with the beautiful backdrop of Santa Barbara was the PERFECT setting for their big day. As Amy and Jared held back tears of joy, they read their vows to one another in the heart of the courthouse grounds. In that moment, it was clear that no music was even needed as their emotion was potent, and the melody of their hearts played instead.
And if that wasn’t enough, the location of the ceremony was at the stunning Santa Barbara Courthouse, a striking Spanish Colonial Revival-style building that puts many of the California missions to shame. It’s hard to drive through the heart of Santa Barbara and miss it with its enormous white walls and red roofs, making it a truly beautiful location for a wedding. We feel so honored to have captured the many smiles, kisses, and tender moments at this breathtaking ceremony location all the way to the luxurious Belmond El Encanto with its incredible views of the city. We then closed out the day with passionate toasts, a game of corn hole, and pictures by the pool at the El Encanto as Amy and Jared continued to be in awe of one another, never tiring from all the festivities.
It’s taken us a minute to get these up on the blog, but we’re SO excited to share these images with you! Here are some of our favorite moments from their big day!!
