We first met Tracy and Sean back in October 2019, and they were excitedly planning their Santa Monica wedding, navigating all of the typical decisions that come with putting together your big day. Fast forward a few months, and the pandemic hit. Venues were shutting down. Stay-at-home orders were put into place, and everything Tracy and Sean had planned suddenly had a big question mark next to it.
Thankfully, they had a wonderful coordinator in their corner, Kathleen Britsch of RMBO Collective! So despite all of the challenges and the month-to-month uncertainty, she worked tirelessly to pivot their plan and communicate the situation with all of their vendors. What started as a full blown celebration, slowly scaled down to a micro wedding and then eventually became more an intimate elopement. This is one of the reasons we tell our couples that am experienced, full-service wedding planner is such a gift! When things don’t go according to plan, they have the resources and know-how to make effective changes to your celebration.
With deep emotion, Tracy and Sean read their vows as their entire family watched from home via live stream, all dressed up with champagne in hand. Overlooking a sweeping view of Los Angeles, it was so clear that love would not be stopped that day and that life and happiness would go on. We were in awe of Tracy and Sean’s positivity and their gratefulness to be able to celebrate in this way, and we wish them the happiest and healthiest of days ahead!
